Wow... exactly. I like the way he said he was building the tool for publishers.. not just monopolizing on the books for his own self gain but focusing on the software to then make the expansion exponential.
It is amazing and endless with information, while somewhat overwhelming at the same time. It meets the needs of many different learning styles and the explorations are endless. At the the same time it makes me concerned about areas without good access and how essential it is for everyone to have coverage. As I am assuming that the apps of book would be web based. Make sense?

This was amazing. It is unbelieveable how much techhnology there is out there that I have no idea about! It makes me think that we should be teaching much more about technology for our students to be successful in the future. The "normal" book is going to become a thing of the past. You can do so much more! WOW!

I think that using a book like that would be a great educational tool. Students as well as the teacher would enjoy reading or learning about a new idea with this technology. :)

Talk about making reading fun and interesting! I wouldn't mind reading Al Gore's book if it was presented that way! But, I guess I'm old fashioned though...I have a sincere fear that someday kids won't know what it is like to smell a new book. :(
