Welcome to Day 1 of Tech Camp!
Goals:
- Know the purpose and differences of websites, wikis, and blogs
- Begin or continue working on your classroom web presence
8:30ish - Norms
- Whose time is it? YOURS. Let's chat about my expectations for this week and yours.
8:40 - Introductions
- Make a badge on Big Huge Labs. Buddy up with a partner and take photos of yourselves somewhere OUTSIDE the building. Include that photo and introduce yourself with at least three interesting details about you!
- Save the badge and email it to jessica.steffel.campers@picasaweb.com and put the word campers in the subject line. You don't need to type anything in the body of the email. Your badge will appear in the slideshow below.
- Print 2 copies and attach to the top of your computer using Teacher's Tape.
- We will share at the end of the session.
- If you finish early, browse this site for resources and familiarize yourself with them OR get started on some of your projects.

- Jess will discuss the differences and how to get started. After that, you have the rest of the morning to workshop!
